KNOWN NOVA ABILITIES: Mega-human strength, speed, endurance, awareness, mental faculties, and leadership skills; kinetic powers beyond those known of any other nova.
BIOGRAPHY: The grandson of two original members of Maxwell Mercer's Aeon Society, John grew up with the firm belief that he had a duty to help others with whatever gifts he had. Strong, smart, virtually fearless and utterly capable, he joined the military in the early 1990s with an eye on protecting freedom and justice throughout the world in a sanctioned manner, and quickly rose to a leadership position. He became disillusioned after some unfortunate incidents, and went into construction, his father's occupation, to build rather than destroy.
On N-Day, he developed a massive headache while working on a skyscraper. Seeing him clutching his head, a co-worker tried to come to his aid, and slipped.
John caught him.
Ten feet out.
Forty stories up.
His background made him the perfect leader for Utopia's nova team of tomorrow, and with a little coaxing (and promises to let him run the team in a proper manner), Pax agreed to take the reins of the nascent organization. When he asked Director Laragiome what he wanted Pax to do with their "Team Tomorrow," the name stuck, and a legend was born.
CURRENT EVENTS: Recently returned from his honeymoon with Songbird, Caestus Pax has been consumed of late with tracking down "those traitors to everything Utopia stands for," Proteus. He recently took the time to be interviewed on N!
TOUR SCHEDULE: Pax hopes to make NovaCon 2009, though we can't promise anything. Team Tomorrow is busy tracking down the Proteus conspiracy, and Pax (as team leader) hasn't had much free time lately.
