The gallowglass of Clann Fhaoilcheire have adopted the name Company of the Black Storm to fight under when they travel abroad. Clad in tabards adorned with a white snarling wolf's head, they descend upon their opponents like a black storm.
The Black Storm was officially formed at the Fall Potrero War in 1996, and is commanded by our Chief.
We are a Gallowglass Free Company, based on the Gallowglass of medieval Scotland. We are currently attached to the Dreiburgen contingent of the Fifth Brigade (was at dreiburgen.org/vbrigade/index.html), in the The Royal Army of Caid.
The Phoenix Medallion
Those warriors marked with a have been awarded the 5th Brigade Phoenix Medallion (a.k.a. the "War Bird") for the season(s) indicated. This award is given for making all musters in a campaign season, and was created when Seosaidh was the only fighter in the Brigade to do so in 1996. The medallion is red enamel on copper.
