Double-knit earband
I cooked this one up because my hunny needed a new earband. The previous one I’d made (see photo — I still need to take a pic of the good one) wasn’t working for him because the wind blew right through it. Double-knitting, which I’d become enamored of, seemed like a good solution. I used wool on the outside for warmth (OC), and a soft acrylic on the inside for comfort (IC). The colors can match or contrast as the wearer prefers (or if you’re dipping into leftovers for the inner color). The completion date is estimated.

Blue double-knit socks
No, not that nasty fabric from the 70s :-). I knit a pair of wool socks for my hunny sometime around 2008, using the double-knit technique found on Extreme 2-in-1 Socks by Kory Stamper and one of the toe-up options on Tiptop Toes. I started the socks individually, then put them on one needle to finish in DK.
No image, and they’ve since gotten holed worn in them so I may felt them into drier balls :-).
Grey shawls
A couple of projects that I still need to make notes on, but for now I’ll link to them on Ravelry: Grey Shoulderette (knit) and Grey Shoulder Shawl with Sleeves (crochet). These were made sometime around 2007.
These are also on my “yard sale” site: Grey shoulder shawl, crocheted and Grey shoulder shawl, knitted.
