This yarn was in the batch given to my Mom to work things up for the Mending Hearts Project, but she wasn’t sure what to do with it and passed it over to me. When MHP needed items for a “Sew Funky” craft faire, it seemed like a good time to find a use for it :-). It’s a very bulky and slubby yarn and is no longer available (I can’t even find anything current about the company), so it took some research and experimentation to find something that would look nice and use up what I had.
I was going to do a spiral scarf, but since I didn’t know how far it would go I decided that a pattern that was worked width-wise was better than one that was done length-wise.
To make it narrow enough for the yarn to last to a decent length, it’s only two “V”s wide. Whoever got this got a one-of-a-kind item :-).
