2012-TARDIS-ornamentIt’s our tradition to get a Yule ornament each year that represents something representative of that year. In 2012, we watched a lot of Doctor Who, catching up on Doctors 9, 10 and 11.

I used the basic Christmas tree TARDIS ornament, but added a light based on the larger TARDIS pattern — 2 rows on 5 sc. The windows are embroidered, as is the year. The lower contrast on the year is deliberate.

Hook: 3.75 mm (F)
Yarn: Not sure, since it was something I’d frogged from an earlier project.

gauntlets My hunny saw something like these in Big Sur, and I commented that I could easily make them to order for a fraction of the price (after all, I don’t charge for my own time ^_^).
