Because the wine shag bathroom set I’ve had since the 80s SO needed to be replaced :-). Photos forthcoming…

Hook: 5.0 mm (H)
Yarn: Lion Brand Recycled Cotton, Marine and Seashells

These are an improvised design. I used the Best Crocheted Potholder technique to get a thick rug without needing to double the yarn and use a big hook. The stripe pattern is one I came up with after searching the web for various ways of doing stripes other than just alternating colors: 8 rows blue, 4 white, 2 blue, 4 white, 2 blue, 4 white.

kitchen-matSomething I came up with based on looking at various crochet rug patterns online. These are more notes I made as I went along than a well-written pattern, so let me know if something doesn’t work or doesn’t make sense.

shopping-bagI don’t have a lot of notes on these, but I’ve made a few crocheted shopping bags for my Mom. This one was in Lily Sugar ‘n Cream, Beach Ball Blue. The others were in Blue Jeans (I think).

cotton-swiffer-cover-onAlways looking for good ways to avoid having to spend money on disposable stuff when reusable stuff will do :-).
