I’ve actually been working on a few things besides blankets, but this is what I have pics of ready to post :-). And, the obligatory link to my original Project Linus post.
Blanket #8: Knitted weave, overall size 28″x29″ — I decided to change over to knitting for a while, and I had a couple of skeins of the same color to work with, so I did a K4P4 basket weave, changing K and P every five rows. IIRC I used a size 9 needle. The border is just single crochet, 6 rows because that’s all I had of that color :-). Knitted part: 4 sts or 5 rows = 1″ (more or less), crochet part 4sc = 1″.
Yeah, really basic stuff. Don’t worry, I’ve started playing with more complicated techniques. More to come… 🙂
