Based on The Eternals template created by Menele.

It seems all The Eternals are based on mythological characters or character’s from “historical” fiction. I am at a loss for the source of Pixie’s origins. She reminds me of Peter Pan’s “Tinkerbell”..Then again Tinkerbell couldn’t turn organic matter into stone.

Pixie is a light hearted character who is very dedicated to her friends. Proof of this can be found in “Marvel:Lost Generation”. Pixie strikes me as a younger Eternal who hasn’t quite reached the power levels of Ikaris or Sersi. She tends to partner up more than the other Eternals. I feel this is due to experience and confidence issues.

History: from the Unofficial Handbook of the Marvel Universe (archive)

Pixie is a member of a race considered to be a genetic offshoot of humanity and known as the Eternals. Although she remained with her Eternal family for centuries, Pixie would often adventure outside their self-imposed exile in the mountains of Greece. During the early 1960’s, she developed a costumed identity, determined to become a super hero after becoming inspired by the heroes of that generation– namely the Yankee Clipper and the First Line. She first sought out the hero known as the Hipster, hoping to become his partner, but he refused.

Pixie somehow learned of the powers of a Canadian Indian and observed him for many months. Determined to make him her partner, Pixie convinced him to use his powers as a crime fighter. Together, the two became known as Pixie and Oxbow, and they were later asked to join the premier superhero team of their generation, the First Line. Over time, the two developed a romantic relationship and were rarely seen apart.

At one point, Pixie convinced her fellow Eternal, Makkari, to join the First Line as the hero Major Mercury. She also revealed her secret to Oxbow at some point, although presumably her other teammates remained unaware of her true nature.

Pixie and Oxbow were among the members of the First Line assembled for its final mission, defeating an invasion by the alien Skrulls. Pixie managed to escape the destruction of the Skrull fleet, presumably due to her physiology as an Eternal, and she returned to her Eternal home.

In more recent times, Pixie discovered her former teammate, the Yankee Clipper, had not been killed, merely shunted into the future. The Clipper reunited with Pixie and his brother, who helped the hero to adjust to living out-of-synch with the world at large.
