Time and past that I make a nice tree skirt instead of wrapping whatever fabric of the appropriate color that I happen to have around the base of the tree :-).

Yarn: Caron One Pound in Claret, White and Forest Green
Changes from the original pattern:
* Swapped white and green
* After finishing the wide white stripe (row 23), I realized it was already bigger than I needed (we have a small tree) so I did row 24 in green, row 25 in red, and then finished with a red and green spiral edging.
